QUESTION: No Lather on First Shampoo
ANSWER:
The product is designed to lift oil and dirt from the coats hair and fur in the first wash. It will not lather on first wash like traditional commercially available pet shampoos.
On the second wash, you will notice a flatter creamy lather. This lather is designed to cleanse deeply and give sheen and remove build-up of surfactant shampoos.
QUESTION: What is a “Double Action Salt Shake”
ANSWER:
The double action salt shake is the way to apply our shampoos to your pets hair or fur. It’s a double action movement, quickly up and down, that resembles the action of shaking salt onto a meal. Its a controlled lid dispenser.
For small sized pets hair and fur : always do 6 double action salt shakes directly distributed over 6 sections of the pets body . For medium sized pets: do 8 salt shakes over body. For larger animals do up to 10 depending on size may need more. No need for creamier lather on longer hair or fur as the lather from the rest will wash through.
QUESTION: My pets hair and fur feels crisp when wet – do I need a conditioner?
ANSWER:
By their very nature, Gypsy Rose Pet 2 in 1 Shampoo’s are different from commercially available pet shampoos & conditioners so this is a normal feeling. Gypsy Rose pet range is pH balancing the hair/fur as it drys.
Don’t judge the softness of your pets hair/fur until it is fully dry, the cleansing action of the unique shampoo will make the hair feel crispy when wet and it pH balances as it drys, leaving it soft. If your pet has long, damaged or coarse hair/fur ? you will need our appropriate type of Multi-Use Conditioner as a Leave-In Conditioner or Hair Treatment. No matter what type of shampoo you are using you can mix and match- Rosemary for slightly dry , Lavender for extremely dry and tangled.
We suggest that you always use a wide tooth comb, to remove the tangled ends first working up from ends to skin. This will avoid creating split ends.
The Gypsy Rose Pet Multi-Use Conditioner is a Leave-In Conditioner/styling aid for use on wet or dry hair/fur , but is also a hair treatment of which you can saturate the whole body for a deep conditioning. Ideal to do a hair/fur treatment once a month whether you need it as a Leave-In Conditioner with shampoo or not.
QUESTION: Why is it 100% bio-dgradable but not certified organic
ANSWER:
The Gypsy Rose range is proven 100% bio-degradable (A/S 4351.5) meaning it breaks down in the earth 100%. Which is what certified A organic usually means, but unfortuanately certified organic pet hair/fur and skin products have a loophole, whereby they are allowed to use an amount of uncertified organic ingredients in their formulas ie. emulsifiers etc . We choose to not be associated with this type of certification and pride ourselfs in our clean 100% bio-degardable ingredients list to market our fermented pet products.

This product is so good.
We have been using it on Pebbles since she was a puppy ? and her coat always looks good, she’s now two. We have just got another little fella and also wash him with it. It’s so easy just wet them up, apply directly on to the dog and massage through and wash out taking all the dirt with it. Such a good natural product. Highly recommend Gypsy Rose Pet shampoo.
